SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROTOTYPE PADA KB TUNAS BANGSA PEKUNCEN JATILAWANG BANYUMAS

Information systems are very important for use in companies, agencies, organizations, especially in the world of education. The process of accepting new students, carried out by KB Tunas Bangsa in Pekuncen Village, Jatilawang District, Banyumas Regency (PAUD), is still conventional and the school (admin) does not really understand how to inp ut reports in the system running on Microsoft Excel, so the process of registering new students and making reports take a long time. Accumulating data and poorly organized files cause difficulties for schools in searching for data. The author wants to design and build the application "Information System for Admission of New Students Using the Prototype Method at KB Tunas Bangsa Pekuncen Jatilawang Banyumas". This information system was created using the PHP programming language and MySQL database and using the Prototype Method and comparative analysis of the running system with the information system that the author will create. The prototype system consists of several stages, namely gathering requirements, building prototyping, evaluating prototyping, coding the system, testing the system, evaluating the system, using the system. As a result, this information system application can support easy access for school principals, admins and registrants / the wider community as well as the process of inputting data, searching for student data, storing student files and making reports more quickly, accurately, effectively and efficiently.
