Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND COMPENSATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AS MEDIATION AT PELITA BANGSA UNIVERSITY

ABSTRACT
The key to the progress of higher education is by improving employee performance and employee performance can be said to be good if the work results obtained are able to meet standards, this can be achieved if employees implement a good Transformational Leadership and universities implement Compensation in accordance with the expertise of employees with the positions to be given so that employees have a high level of commitment to the organization so that employee performance can be achieved as much as possible. The problem in this study is directed at the influence of Transformational Leadership, and Compensation on employee performance with organizational commitment as mediation. The type of research used in this study is explanatory research using SmartPLS software version 3.2.9. The results of the study are: 1) Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 2) Transformational Leadership does not have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. 3) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 4.) Compensation does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 5) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment 6) Transformational Leadership mediated by organizational commitment does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 7) Compensation mediated Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
