ANALISIS HAMBATAN PADA PROSES SHIPMENT FINISHED GOODS DI LOGISTIK DENGAN METODE SEVEN TOOLS (Studi kasus PT. Kalbe Farma, Tbk Bekasi)

Competition between business actors is a very crucial issue which is increasingly proving the existence of business actors in the national and international sectors, because this ability means the opportunity to earn sufficient profit, balanced with the investment invested. Logistics is a part of supply chain management that focuses on the movement of goods or storage of goods and information to meet customer needs. In the current crisis conditions, every company is required to carry out cost reduction strategies. So, every employee needs to be equipped with the correct method of reducing costs, involved systematically through the seven tools method and the quality control process recognizes the existence of seven tools as tools that help in analyzing and resolving quality problems of a product produced by the company. The evaluation stage of the results resulting from using the seven tools method is improvements in quality which have been improved by applying one of the tools from the seven tools, namely fishbone. From the various problems that occurred in the warehouse in the delivery of finished goods to distributors, corrective steps were obtained by successfully eliminating product preparation steps that were scattered and covered by other products, the actual result was 220 minutes/container to 120 minutes/container, after improvements the warehouse capacity increased by 386.8%. Suggestions from research that has been carried out are to carry out routine preventive action by updating the dashboard system periodically, so that warehouse occupancy before reaching the maximum limit of 80%, especially for products with special delivery, is moved to the rental warehouse.
